PROJECT
With “Ambassadors of culture along the Silk Road”, Past Forward intends to organize periodic meetings between the countries crossed by the 3 Silk Roads (land, sea and Africa) to start cultural projects that would see them all equally involved. Only by starting from the recovery of the cultural foundations of each country, it will be possible to achieve together a future of sustainable growth. The projects will be presented in Italy and in the countries participating in the initiative, thus creating a “two-way” path of cultural initiatives: a format that will gradually be enriched with the contribution of all.
The project focuses on the respect and enhancement of the traditions of each country, with the desire to create a future common path through cultural relations, starting from the consideration that:
the “contemporary” that surrounds us tends to be homologated in a standardized culture, in which everyone is losing their own identity;
the traditions, which characterize each country, have often not been reinterpreted and valued in a contemporary form;
the West has not always recognized the contributions made to its own culture, which is the result of contaminations that come from many parts and are lost in the mists of time.
OPPORTUNITY
The reactivation of the Silk Road may become the beginning of a new way of understanding cultural exchanges, while respecting diversity. Countries crossed by the 3 Silk Roads will be proposed to develop cultural projects together which, placing ALL on the same line, allow a dialogue on different themes (science, art, design, music, mathematics, philosophy, languages, communication, cinema, theatre, manufacturing, wine, food, raw materials, handicrafts and many other possible topics). Each country, recognizing itself in some of these themes, will be able to start again from here to mend its own history.
WHERE IN ITALY
Past Forward will identify “showcases” of excellence in Italy to start and follow the development of the project, with the aim of creating stable cultural relations which are fundamental for a peaceful coexistence, in the name of recovering the precious uniqueness of each one and with a view to sharing a common future in the name of CULTURE that does not standardize.

NEXT MEETING
The ambassadors of the 3 Silk Roads will be invited to the first official presentation that will give life to the project. The meeting will be held in Piedmont in the Roero di Monticello Castle (Alba), guests of the counts Aimone and Elisa Roero di Monticello.
The invitation will be extended to the 70 ambassadors of the countries along the 3 Silk Roads. After the first meeting in Piedmont, many others are expected, which will be organized in various Italian regions (starting from the places which are partner of Past Forward) and in the countries that will join.
WHY INVESTING IN THE PROJECT
because the identity of each organization is expressed above all through its relationship with the community (COMMUNITY INDEX, State> Market> Community, the third pillar);
because companies will have the opportunity to make a contribution to the enhancement of the community’s tradition and culture. The company / community bond will also be based on VALUES and not just on profit: a value and HUMAN relationship, therefore sustainable. If the economic world does not move on values it does not grow;
for the expansion of potential partners and customers;
because those who know and collaborate with each other do not enter into a conflict (United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: objective 16 PEACE AMONG PEOPLES);
because it will be possible to achieve the goal of the GLOBAL PARTNERSHIP FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT (United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: objective no. 17). Our projects will have SUSTAINABILITY as a guiding star;
to mend history, rewriting it with several hands;
to act with awareness and responsibility in the present;
to plan the future with competence, vision and common sense;
to weave together a new canvas, made of different threads and colours;
